Jill has made Crested Butte her home and haven for more than 25 years and has been a local Realtor® since 2008. She knows this place well and has explored all the surrounding areas in the Gunnison Valley. Skiing has always been Jill’s passion and obsession, and it’s what brought her here in the first place. Jill grew up ski racing in New England and continued for many years in the ski industry as a ski race coach, a sponsored ski competitor, a ski instructor, and most recently hosting ski trips around the world with her husband and their ski travel business. Having been involved in many facets of skiing: from an NCAA D1 ski racer to a US Extreme Skiing Champion, and as a PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) National Alpine Team member to an inductee in Maine’s Ski Hall of Fame, skiing is just ingrained in her and has been a rewarding and successful path. She still skis as much as she can and teaches part time with the Crested Butte Ski and Ride School.

Jill graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in teaching. She approaches each real estate transaction as a teaching and learning partnership with her clients. Having the opportunity to meet new people, finding the perfect home and sharing the Crested Butte area are some of her favorite parts of being a Realtor®. Crested Butte is a great vacation spot in winter or summer for the part time visitor and it is a wonderful place to live year-round and raise a family. She feels fortunate to have been able to live in the Crested Butte community for so many years and enjoys helping others find their place here. Jill and her husband Ross, who she met while travelling in Australia, raised their two teenage boys, Kye and Jamis, here in this mountain town, enjoying all it has to offer – with its sense of community, open space and outdoor activities.
